(Cleveland)- A Richmond Heights man is accused of tampering with his wife's car to try and kill her.
73-year-old Ronald Miller was charged Wednesday with attempted aggravated murder, attempted murder, felonious assault and violating protection order.
Police Detective Sgt. Darren Porter says Rhonda Miller went through the front window of Nail Expo on Wilson Mills Road back in February.
The wife walked away with no injuries but the car was totaled and there was significant damage to the building. Many businesses had to evacuate because the roof is now sagging from the accident.
Police received some assistance from the owner of a towing service who noticed the car had a wooden shim wedged in the throttle body of the car causing the accelerator to stick.
