(Cleveland) - The Derecho type weather conditions that were a possibility in greater Cleveland Wednesday into the early morning hours Thursday did not materialize as expected.
Frank Keltica with the National Weather Service in Cleveland expected as much as three inches of rain to greet parts of the area.
It did not materialize, however, as Keltica says the area received between three-quarters of an inch to an inch and a half of rain.
He also says the winds were not as fierce as expected, gusting at the height of the storm between 45 and 55MPH.
There were just a scattering of power outages due to the storm, according to First Energy.
