(Cleveland) -- All three women whose bodies were found late last week in East Cleveland were homicide victims, and two of them were strangled to death.
Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner Dr. Thomas Gilson says final autopsies on the three are not yet completed, but so far it has been determined that 18-year-old Shirellda Terry and 38-year-old Angela Deskins died from strangulation. It was not determined how 28-year-old Shetisha Sheeley died. Her death is listed as homicidal violence by unspecified means.
The bodies of Deskins, Sheeley and Terry were all found in a garage and in vacant houses last Friday and Saturday. They all had been placed into plastic garbage bags.
35-year-old Michael Madison (photo), the suspect in all three murders, has been charged with three counts each of aggravated murder and kidnapping. The registered sex offender is being held in the Cuyahoga County jail, and his case has been turned over to a county grand jury.
East Cleveland police, along with the FBI and other agencies, continue to look for leads and clues in East Cleveland and elsewhere.
