(Cleveland) - Cleveland has made the cut. The Republican National Committee has advanced to the next round in the effort to land the 2016 Republican National Convention. Cincinnati also made the cut.
The two Ohio cities are up against Dallas, Denver, Kansas City and Las Vegas in the effort to get the event. Members from the RNC will visit each city before making a final decision.
Hotel space, transportation and local funding are among some of the key factors in the Committee's decision. No word when the final decision will be made.
