(Cleveland) -- Cleveland Police say a man was shot dead early Monday morning on the east side.
Police say that about 4:30 a.m. Monday, the 27-year-old man was a passenger in a car near East 116th St. and Martin Luther King Drive. A car going in the opposite direction fired several rounds into the car. That victim was taken to SouthPointe Hospital by private car where he died of gunshot wounds an hour after being shot.
The Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner's office has not yet released the victim's name. Anyone with information about the case should call the CPD Homicide Unit at 216-623-5464.
